BUCKET TEST INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Turn off any automatic fill devices. Fill pool to normal level.
  2. Fill bucket and place in pool on first or second step.
  3. Mark the water level of the pool and the inside of the bucket.
  4. Operate pool filter and heater normally.
  5. After 24 hours measure water level in bucket and the pool as compared to the initial measurement.
  6. If water loss in pool is greater than the water loss in the bucket there is a leak.

    Description

    LEAKMASTER's Pre-Filled Dye Testers help you precisely locate structural pool leaks allowing the appropriate repairs to be made.

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Hold Tester by barrel with plunger down. Remove white cap. Insert pointed end of plastic needle about 1/4" into hole.
    2. Reduce currents in pool by turning off circulatory systems and getting swimmers out of the pool.
    3. Carefully push plunger to squirt a small ribbon of dye to within 1/4" of suspected leak area (fittings, light niches, cracks, tile line, skimmers, liner seams, steps, etc.). Dye will be drawn out of pool where there is a leak.
